Finding Confidence, Clarity, and a Framework for Practice

Undertaking the Professional Supervision training was a significant turning point in my development as a supervisor. The program provided an excellent and reliable framework for approaching supervision with confidence, one that respects supervisees, their clients, and the complex systems they work within.

Learning to Work Systemically and Culturally Aware

One of the most formative aspects of the course was the way it expanded my awareness of systemic and cultural dynamics. I was challenged to think carefully about my own assumptions and to recognise the assumptions at play within the workplaces and contexts of supervisees and their clients. This broadened lens has become essential to how I now approach supervision.

Hands-On Learning That Shapes Real Practice

The regular guided, hands-on opportunities in the afternoon sessions were invaluable. These practical components created space to test ideas, apply learning, receive feedback, and steadily grow in confidence. It was in these sessions that I truly began to understand what it means to take up the role of a professional supervisor.

Supported, Encouraged, and Equipped

I am deeply grateful for the teaching support, flexibility, and encouragement I received throughout the program. These helped me not only learn the skills of supervision, but also grow into the identity and responsibility of becoming a supervisor, finding my place, making it my own, and stepping into the role with purpose.
